DCS Award Winning System Murrelektroniks Vario X 1 400

Twin pack for Murrelektronik! The company has won two prestigious awards - the "Factory of the Future" award in the category "Best Equipment, Best System", presented at the "Advanced Factories Congress" in Barcelona and the Audience Award for Product of the Year in the "Communication & Networking" category, presented by "Computer & Automation" magazine - with its brand new "VARIO-X" automation system. Both awards recognize Murrelektronik's outstanding future viability and innovative strengths.

VARIO-X is a modular, highly flexible automation system that, for the first time, allows all automation functions to be decentrally (without control cabinet architecture) implemented. It brings sensors and actuators into the direct machine environment and ensures reliable voltage, signal and data management during the seamless integration of decentralized servo drives. The accompanying digital twin saves time and money during planning, installation, operation and service.

"We are delighted to receive these two awards. They are confirmation of our efforts to constantly question automation and drive it forward with new approaches and ideas. That's why they are not only confirmation for us, but also an incentive to continue on our chosen path to decentralized digitalization with all the consistency we can muster," Christian Kübler, VARIO-X product manager at Murrelektronik, is pleased to report.
