The Drives & Motion division of Yaskawa America, Inc. proudly introduces the GA500 Industrial Microdrive, reflecting Yaskawa’s continued customer commitment to providing sustainable, flexible, and easy-to-use products. “This drive builds on the deep history of Yaskawa’s product quality,” Ed Tom, Product Manager, said. “The GA500 provides high reliability with its design to deliver a minimum of 10 years of continuous operation."
The new DPDM Multimount compact cylinder is Festo’s smallest, lightest and most economical choice yet in its class. It’s ideal for many applications compact cylinders perform, such as stopping or stabilizing small work pieces or work platforms in light manufacturing. It’s noticeably smaller than Festo’s widely used DMM compact cylinder and unique for the variety of ways it can be fastened in place directly. It can be mounted at the front or rear, vertically or horizontally, hence the “Multimount” in its name.

The new Generation X.e is based on these features and impresses with its added efficiency, experience, and excellence : Because these industrial gear units can be adapted individually and precisely to the respective requirements of your particular application, both in terms of operation and the surroundings.
ABB recently announced the launch of its Induction xP Plus actuator for paper and packaging manufacturers seeking a powerful, efficient, rapid-acting and safe method for controlling caliper on paper machines calenders. Induction xP Plus rapidly ensures efficient heating up to 100 kW/meter in a highly-targeted area, providing unmatched flexibility for power density and heating zone width.
WEG is a traditional supplier of solutions in speed variation, manufacturing all the parts of a system: Input switchgear, transformer(dry-type or oil-type), frequency inverter and electric motor. The MVW01 is designed to control medium voltage induction motors. It features unique innovations, combining hardware robustness with simplicity, reliability and safety in a compact solution with few components and state-of-the-art technology.
The Drives & Motion Division of Yaskawa America, Inc. proudly introduces the GA500 Industrial Microdrive, reflecting Yaskawa’s continued customer commitment to providing sustainable, flexible, and easy-to-use products. It is designed to meet RoHS2, providing a sustainable and environmentally friendly drive. The TUV safety rating allows our customers to meet the most stringent safety ratings for their machine and provides a long mission time for the life of their equipment.
The new Allen-Bradley E100 Electronic Motor Overload Relay can help industrial companies better protect their motors and avoid unplanned downtime. As the next generation of Allen-Bradley electronic overload relays, it more accurately measures a motor’s current load, models its temperature and shuts the motor off when it’s in danger of damage due to overheating.
Festo designed the new space-saving, flat, DLGF rodless linear drive as a very economical choice for applications where installation space is especially tight, like in electronics, small parts assembly, packaging and handling technology. Since those space considerations can also make a pneumatic drive harder to adjust or service, Festo also made its proprietary self-adjusting end-cushioning (PPS) standard with DLGF. Self-adjusting cushioning saves time and makes processes more reliable; the drive is always providing the correct cushioning.
FLIR Systems, Inc. recently announced the FLIR CM94 2000-amp AC/DC electrical utility clamp meter. Designed to tackle high current electrical measurements in demanding utility and industrial job sites, the CM94 features an oversized jaw to easily manage larger conductors and busbars. With CAT IV-1000-volt overvoltage protection, the CM94 works on relays, distribution panels, vaults, switchgears and switchboards, as well as on service conductors, feeders, and production power lines.
Industrial operators can speed up installation times and reduce parts inventories by using a single cable to provide both power and feedback between drives and motors. And now, operators have more single-cable options at their disposal with the release of new Allen-Bradley 2090 single cables that include halogen-free PUR and PVC options.

Put to the Ultimate Test – Part 1: Torsion Tests by HELUKABEL
Cables and wires in industrial robots and other moving machine parts are often required to withstand extreme stresses caused by torsion. Constant repetitive movements put materials under considerable strain. At the same time, operators expect components to function perfectly and reliably throughout their entire service life to avoid disruptions, outages and safety hazards.
For this reason, at HELUKABEL, we simulate intensive and continuous torsion stresses under realistic conditions with our high-tech testing equipment in Windsbach. We have several types of apparatus for doing this because some of our customers, for example those in the automotive industry, have very precise specifications for how a torsion test is carried out. The tests show that our cables and wires withstand speeds up to 1,000°/s, accelerations up to 2,000°/s² and torsion angles up to 720°. Hence, we make sure that each product always meets our customers’ high standards, and that they receive the impeccable quality they rightly expect from us as a leading supplier of cables, wires and accessories for more than 40 years.
